Setting Up a Thermal Label
Learn how to set up a thermal label size in Labeliy for Zebra, Dymo, Rollo, or Brother printers by entering your label's width and height.
If you print with a thermal label printer — like a Zebra, Dymo, Rollo, or Brother — use the Thermal tab instead of searching for a sheet.
Step 1 — Open the Thermal Tab#
Go to labeliy.com/label-maker. In the Choose your label setup window, click the Thermal tab.
Step 2 — Enter Your Label Size#
Fill in these fields, all measured in inches:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Width | The width of one label |
| Height | The height of one label |
| Left-Right Margin | Empty space on the left and right edge of the label |
| Top-Bottom Margin | Empty space on the top and bottom edge of the label |
| Corner Radius | How rounded the label's corners are (0 for square corners) |
The Live Preview panel updates as you type, showing your label size and sheet size.
Common Thermal Label Sizes#
| Size | Use case |
|---|---|
| 4" × 6" | Standard shipping label (USPS, FedEx, UPS) |
| 2" × 1" | Small product or price label |
| 4" × 2" | Medium product label |
Step 3 — Start Designing#
Click Start Designing. Labeliy generates one PDF page per label — the format thermal printers expect.
